My friend at Stamford Striders running club, Suzanne Moon, works at our local newspaper the Stamford Mercury. She asked if I’d create a nice easy home workout for people who aren’t runners, as all my other workouts on this channel are quite energetic! They are doing a piece on helping people get through self-isolation and staying at home during the coronavirus outbreak and I was very pleased to be able to help in this small way.

However, in planning this chair workout I realised that it’s also brilliant for anyone, including very active people, stuck working from home at a desk at this time. The moves are very easy and relaxing and will work to de-stress everyone no matter what your fitness level. So give it a go!

Need motivation?
Join the Covid-19k Challenge Facebook group or Strava Club to keep active and get support from fellow runners. We are running, walking or cycling at least 19k a week, sticking strictly to the current government and medical guidelines at all times (indoors/gardens if necessary).
