Last September I was at the finale of the Golden Trails World Series at the Skyline Scotland and I asked some of the top international athletes like Ricky Lightfoot, Max King, Judith Wyder and Debbie Martin-Consani what motivates them to run all winter in the dark, the cold and the rain, plus their top tips to get you out of the door too.

Do you like or loathe running in bad winter weather? I like a bit of wild weather as long as I know I can have a nice hot shower afterwards. Comment on YouTube to join the discussion!
