Massive respect to the incredible Courtney Dauwalter for giving this interview moments after finishing 1st lady in the UTMB (Ultra Tour du Mont Blanc) 2019 at the finish line in Chamonix. An incredible performance after coming back from a hip injury earlier in the year.

Here Courtney shares how she deals with sleep deprivation and gives advice for coping with the inevitable pain that running 171km (106 miles) with 10,000m ascent through the wild mountains around Mont Blanc brings!
