Hey everyone! Having tested umpteen packs over 2018 and 2019 I thought it was high old time I got my teeth into something else as well on this channel! Cue the NEW Suunto 5 GPS watch, which I have been spending a lovely sunny morning with.
In this film I will show you what I consider to be the most essential trail running features. I’ll share how easy it was to set up and use, how to record a simple run, upload to Strava (or whatever you use), how to set an interval session, how to create a route in the Suunto app and follow it on the watch.
I used this watch at the same time as my trusty old Garmin Forerunner 225 (but is it so trusty now…? Hmmm…) which I know is not a direct and fair comparison but I don’t have the Garmin Forerunner 245 just yet, I’m working on that.
Anyways, this review will be useful to you if you are just starting out on your GPS watch journey and are baffled by the choices available.
